I've been using lavender essential oils with heated candles for ten years, maybe longer to keep my house smelling nice as we have 3 dogs. I thought a fork smell would be nice as there is no flame and no need to buy more candles or clean the oil socket. I bought a lavender and aloe aroma plug. Installation is no more difficult than screwing the lid onto the jar - difficulty level 0 out of 5, and then sticking the fragrance bottle into the wall below. I gave this product 2/5 stars because it is easy to use and does the job - it smells BUT the smell is disgusting. I have used dozens of different brands of lavender essential oil and love them all. This fragrance "Lavender and Aloe" has nothing to do with lavender. The scent reminds me of gummy bears with corn syrup and cherry flavors, not even remotely lavender. This article would be a great April Fool's joke to prank a friend by hooking them up to your house lol.
