Review on Powerful White Air Purifier with Electrostatic Filter - Superior to HEPA - Filters Pollen, Smoke, Mold, Dust, Pet Dander by Tisha Gilliland

Very quiet. Slightly larger than expected

The best thing about this air purifier is that it's quiet. The advert said yes, but until I heard it myself I wasn't sure. I'm here to say that I can barely hear it, at least at low revs. I only see that the light is on. It has a very slight hum. Even at high power, it's still very quiet - almost like faint white noise. Another thing I love about them (compared to air ionizer filters) is that they always create a weird smell in the air when they are working. It's not like that at all. I can only hope that technically it works as advertised and the filtering that is said to be quite high quality. I bought this both because of the Covid (it's supposed to go down to microns so low that it infects viruses and bacteria) and because I live in a house with no air conditioning so I have to open the windows in the summer. And in a big city, the air is always polluted and suspended in air that I'd rather not breathe. So I saw it as a small investment for potentially good health benefits. Last comment: This is more than I thought. Not that it's a bad thing - I just envisioned it as a small desktop element, but it's 8 inches in diameter and about 30 cm tall. So for a desktop, it's pretty big. Keep it off the floor, or you can set it up as a coffee table, end table, or deep bookcase. I bought this version (instead of the smaller version they also sell at Revain) because it covers a much larger square footage. , I'm glad I have this big one. Just saying, it's not a cute little desktop thing - it's a little bigger. Overall very happy with it - looks well made.
