Mismatched USB Cables

This cable doesn't always charge, when you first connect the phone it behaves like it's charging but when you check it has stopped charging, it was disconnected and reconnected do not restart charging. I'm not sure if magnets cause problems, but we don't try to use them anymore. Great idea if it works.
