I've finally found what I need for my car phone. But only after buying at least six other brands that didn't work. This little square jellyfish is absolutely PERFECT! I drive a 2016 Subaru Forester and none of the brackets/mounts I've bought in the past have worked - and I've bought all the different ones - with different "mounting" methods. Until this Medusa. As I read the reviews, I noticed that many people mentioned that they needed to develop methods to keep their vent windows open after installing Jellyfish - and looking at the photos some of them had attached, it seemed to me like they had it installed on the blinds near the top of their vent. I installed mine in the BOTTOM of my center/passenger side vent and my vents are still fully adjustable and stay open (or I can close them if I want). And this position puts my phone in my ideal field of view, and it doesn't interfere with or restrict any of my car's controls. And it was easy to install. didn't even have to "think" about it. This item appears to be well constructed with quality materials. and I think it should last a long time. I am very happy that I found and bought this mount and I can only recommend it!
