I have brown and black socks. These socks are a little tight on the thigh but that doesn't bother me. And they slide on me a bit, but I'm ok with that because I like the "eye-to-eye" effect that high hips create. I have to order a new pair. If you want really durable over-the-knee socks, I suggest you just treat yourself to American Apparel's. Otherwise they do their thing.
