Strap is about 3 inches shorter. The end won't go around the buckles as it should; it just goes underneath. The buckles are very high and square. They constantly get in the way and don't lie down exactly as intended. I suspect this is more of a "fashion" watch strap than a NATO strap. The idea is that the extra length allows the watch to be worn over gloves, jackets, etc. The strap has to go through the buckles, around and back through the buckles to hold the extra length, which you don't get here. Get one of the wrist candies for just a few dollars more. I was impatient and wasted my money.
