Bought this item for my 8 year old daughter. This mini drone is pretty cool! It's controlled by a hand gesture, which is pretty cool! These drones don't fly as high as some, so I'm not worried about them getting stuck in trees and branches. My daughter played with them for a while before they needed to be recharged. The drone is not very noisy like some of my other drones. This is definitely a great gift for kids under 12 or so!
