Review on AT&T CL2939 Corded Phone: Black, 1 Handset – Reliable Communication Solution by Dede Tambagan

Revainrating 4 out of 5

many times better than reviews/UPDATED

4 levels of screen contrast - 4 marks tiltable 45 degrees - no phone line current when I use it and the screen does not light up / don't know if the phone works the screen lights up from the mains but the batteries do not light up / after installation the clock, date and settings are stable, the time remains correct / installation is possible by trial and error and therefore works - except for the basic setting of use - up, which is easy / for me it was setting the exact Time awkward / 15 second timeouts happen so often in settings this session will restart - work fast! / My wireless handset with buttons accidentally presses when I put it to my ear with my shoulder / The voice of the call is clear and loud on both sides - the recorded voice was clear on the answering machine / Sounds natural on my side, and good ones too Reports on the other end / Large buttons 1 14" x 15/16" - Font quality is also good sized everywhere / Use of AT&T speakerphone instead of Magic Jack speakerphone which isn't as good or pressing the AT&T button not so simple is good - read the manual for all usage keys. / Memory call list and speed dial work with phone button numbers 0-9 / Liquid crystal display (LCD) 3 1/2 x 1 7/8 with clear letters/numbers / Works with hearing aid / Compatible with call waiting / Stores 26 numbers with their names in call log and 65 numbers with information about the last 65 incoming numbers, the last of which is dropped / the screen shows the number of incoming calls plus unchecked new calls / red LED flashes when there is an incoming call and stays on when using / user manual troubleshooting and AT&T telephone number 1-800 -222-3111 for questions OR try [.] / the phone can be used during a power outage to make and make calls while there is phone service due to its AAA battery - In my case with a computer magic jack that provides a using an AC powered router, the phone will not work. / the phone is considered heavy, so does not slip on the surface and also has rubber feet / battery life is unknown - also varies) / redial, mute, ringer volume; medium to loud, handset volume stepless, hands-free facility stepless / note; Caller ID may cost extra but comes with my magic jack/shiny black case with white letters. Please note; THERE IS NO AUTO ANSWER IN THIS PHONE, but everything else is correct. Great device and great price. / All cables included and of good length / Mute, audio assist and speaker buttons light up when used / Battery status doesn't show up with my fresh batteries but can show up when it's low / Set languages; English by default, Spanish, French / has tone pulse setting / area code by default for outgoing / incoming calls works great and is quite comfortable but done right / handset mutes but no speakerphone mute / mute button on the other end not tested e.g. clicking as one reviewer complained about / no static or other noise detected / set to have untested new calls appear first in list, or by call time in history list / SO if you don't need an answering machine this phone should be great. / My comments on other people's reviews; the screen is not boring there are settings in the contract, although all lcd screens are difficult to see in the ambient light / there are pause-flash options that you can set when compiling the call list (not tried), but may not work for a direct call / you can change the number in setup / the battery cover requires no tools to open to insert 4 AA batteries / the handset fits snugly into the stand with the ability to hook the stand to fold it down to hang the phone - really for wall mount used but the hook provides extra security when used on a desk / hanging works fine. / The speakerphone has good listening volume and reception / Others report that the phone sounds good and natural with and without the speakerphone / Will update the review if there are any issues. UPDATE UPDATE -- I always press the 'volume up a little' button on my phone ----- works well when there is noise around me, such as: B. an air conditioner! A notice; When switching to hands-free, do not put the earpiece back on the stand as it will cover the speaker you are using. You probably want the volume to be fully adjusted. UPDATE UPDATE August 2016 - The phone is fine, but I often wish the speakerphone had more volume so it can be further away from the phone when idle. What companies often like to do!
