I bought this for our new Maytag 5.3 top loading washing machine. Fits perfectly! The problem was that our machine made loud noises on two settings. We called Master and found that the tray was rubbing the bottom of the washing machine. We removed it and the machine works great. I want to return it but I have to pay over $15 shipping plus repair cost as it wasn't a car it was a mat. I believe this mat is only suitable for front loading machines on pedestals, not top loading. The mechanics said it wouldn't protect against a leak. They were angry and felt that people shouldn't be using them. I learned an expensive lesson. I actually bought two of these. I wanted to use the second one that hasn't been opened yet and is still in the box. The first will be the trash can. I'm stuck on the second because I don't feel it was accurately described for use on my machine. I didn't know it could hurt him. I refuse to pay the shipping costs for the return.
