My boys had this toy when they were younger with a see through screen on top and it worked great and they loved it. I suspect this new model has some issues that need to be addressed. I bought this for my 1 year old grand nephew and it worked for maybe TWO minutes then it stuck in the middle and wouldn't pop the eggs and it made a loud horrible noise like some other people's reviews. Now the toy is an hour away from me at my grandnephew's house and I have to return it because they won't do anything for me until I bring back the broken one! DISSATISFIED! Usually Revain's sales reps are very cooperative and overly helpful, but I don't think Fisher Price is into this product. DO NOT BUY if you do not wish to return items!
