This is a beautiful, well-tailored blanket. It fits perfectly in my king size bed. I love resorting to a bedspread instead of a blanket. With a bedspread, there is no need for extra pillows or soft cloaks. The bedspread is long enough to fold the top of the bedspread to place the pillows. Then fold the comforter over the pillows and tuck the edges behind the pillows. I love that the quilting pattern doesn't obscure the pillow area. This will prevent the quilt from becoming too full. Her eyes focus on the pattern of the quilt in the center of the bed and the hem of the bedspread. Very well done! The quality of the blanket is excellent. It's not too heavy as blankets usually are. In terms of softness, it is as soft as any duvet. It's not rough, but it's not soft microfiber either. What am I happy about? I don't like microfiber. I prefer cotton.
