A good monitor is bright and clear. My eyes are MUCH less strained. However, and this is annoying, the monitor often LOCKS when controlled by my computer's screensaver. The display shows one color (black, white or gray) from edge to edge. None of the buttons work, not even the power button. I have to PHYSICALLY UNPLUG the power cord and then plug it back in. Once this "DOS restart" is done, it works great. It's not the computer - I'm using "ssh" from another computer and everything is fine. I use various "top" programs to check that no processes are running. This bug doesn't kill, but it's annoying.
