Review on COWONE Headlights Scientific Replacement Feightliner by Fort Steffen

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The high beam was not two-pin as in the photo!

Overview and installation of this kit on my 2007 Chevrolet Kodiak C4500 The high beam is advertised as 2 pin, it is actually a 3 pin. The polarity is correct but you will need to cut off 1/2 of the moon shaped part of the connector. Instead of cutting it off I decided to use my electrical dams and cut off about 1/2 inch so the third pin would slide into that part. Plug so none of the metal comes into contact with anything. The low beam is a different story. Although it comes with some pigtail transitions, there isn't much room in the buckets to stuff all those cables in there. The lights themselves have a 6 inch pigtail. So put a lot of shit in those holes. Instead I chose to reverse the polarity by cutting and using heat shrink but the connectors to swap wires. (It's black and brown) I checked they worked low and then back up before sliding everything back and reinstalling the bezels. I haven't driven at night yet. They only arrived yesterday and dinner was planned here last night. So check back later in the week before I can add some NIGHT shots. and photos My rating will be 4 stars, if everything was plug and play it would probably get 5.
