This bag is compact (my 13.3" laptop easily fits in a padded sleeve), but it has everything you need to get started: peripherals, charging cables, cosmetic pouch. , badges, vacuum flasks for water/coffee. Fully zipped to keep pickpockets out on the train or bus. The configuration of the straps is adjustable, if desired, you can make it a shoulder or shoulder bag. Feminine style but modern: it looks professional without being boring. It's sleek, with subtle zips and a flowy silhouette, and comes in a tasteful but slightly unusual color palette (hooray, anything but black, navy, brown, and beige). No gold chains or flashy hardware; You don't have to wear a suit or shoes to not give in to your bag. Overall, it meets almost all the requirements I wanted. It could have been an inch taller to close a little quicker than a 13.3" laptop, but I loaded it up fully and showed it zipped in one of my pictures and it still closes.
