Too much static as I feared

Years ago I had a similar tray that I couldn't use due to static electricity - cleaning was a disaster then Glitter covered every inch. I would end up wasting more glitter trying to clean the tray than I would use on a real project. Now I use more glass glitter with a higher grit. Thinking I wouldn't have this glassy sheen problem, I ordered. Unfortunately, there is still too much static electricity in there. I will say that I can use the tray to work with beads or rhinestones or any other project that requires tiny pieces. However, I was a little disappointed that I couldn't use the tablet for its intended purpose.
