Review on C & T Publishing Transfer Artist Paper, 8.5 x 11-Inch, Pack of 18 Sheets by Kim Sanchez

Good product with good results

My projects with this artist transfer paper have turned out surprisingly well. I heard horror stories about transfer projects and was afraid of being disappointed. In fact, I kept this pack in my workshop for over a year, trying to convince myself to try it. This Christmas I finally got my hands on some iron-on transfer paper and used it to transfer images onto flour paper towels. In total I gave away 12 towels, which the recipients liked very much. I know they did this because it was for my grown children who usually look at my products and thank me politely. :) But they really liked the gift. For example, I found antique advertisements for beer, wire cutters, and whiskey and put them on towels. On the one hand there were funny kitchen sayings and on the other hand rustic pictures. The process is not difficult, but you really need to read the instructions and be careful. My first mistake was not flipping the printed image, which meant a wasted sheet of carbon paper and a wasted towel. The next mistake I made was trying to remove the carbon paper from the towel after it had cooled. This resulted in partial printing. The instructions say not to do this. :( Another wasted paper and towel. But afterward I felt like a pro and the final towels came out nice and looked well made. Actually my kids thought I bought them with the pictures already included. :) If you want more Information on how to use this product is provided by the designer as a video.
