Pleasantly surprised by this Ancool Fenix 5 bracelet. I got this strap for an upcoming running event and wanted to replicate my team colors. It comes very close to the original Garmin Quickfit strap, but costs a lot less ($15.99). The markings and shape are similar to the original, even the black clasp is similar. I was tempted to buy this item at a popular auction but after reading the negative seller ratings and the very long shipping I decided to order here. I ordered it on Saturday and received it on Monday! Worth the extra money I paid. The material feels soft and velvety BUT the flexibility is the same as the original. It snaps securely into place and doesn't feel like it's loosening or loosening. A closer look reveals a few differences: The two Velcro fasteners are not beveled like the original, but rounded, but have a protrusion on the outside. The clasp on the original has a torx screw while Ancool doesn't, it's plain, no screws. The screws of the Quickfit system look like Torx on the original version, while the Ancool version looks like Philips. Ancool's textured finish seems to be more pronounced, but in terms of looks, they're almost the same. I recommend this article if you're looking for something that's pretty close to the original. I plan to buy a few more colors. Only time will tell how it holds up. I will update the review accordingly.
