This hat was just what I was looking for and totally protected my 5 yo daughter's face from the sun while at the beach. My only compliant, and this is a big one, is that the snap on the chin strap keep coming undone. When we were at the beach the wind would pick up and cause the snap to come undone. While at the pool m daughter likes to swim in her hat and this hat held up well due to the wire on the brim however the snap kept coming undone. Would recommend for younger kids that don't swim under water or if you're not going to the beach where there could be stronger winds.
