I'm giving it a 5 star rating because I really don't have anything negative to say. It's thinner than the picture so expect somewhat see through. Very light. Will not protect you from strong (coastal) winds, but warm with inland and hill breezes. Not sure how I could tell if I'm getting UV protection. I don't feel my skin burning under direct sun or the sun feels less intense? Hope that helps.
