3.5 rounded. My Urban Shop Round Knitted Pouffe - Handwoven cotton, taupe arrived as expected. After reading other reviews I can't report any signs of unraveling. In addition, the shaft has an inner lining that prevents the foam padding from leaking. I only use it as a footstool so expect a longer lifespan as seating. That's convenient. Although a bit bulky, it's light enough to be easily manoeuvred. Because it's light and has no real structure, it can tip over. I tend to lean mine against something to lessen that tendency. It should not be refilled. Most likely, a knitted cover will serve as a puff filling. After almost 4 months I am satisfied. I may try to replace it when the time comes, or maybe not.
