A good choice for the first RC truck

This is the second HBX (Haiboxing) truck I own. I've had a few RC cars over the years and got back into them last year after a few years off the hobby. With the money spent, the situation has improved significantly. The cost seems better than a few years ago. This particular truck is great for young users who are ready for something faster and funnier than their first $40-$50 RC toy. It improves things a bit for a bit more money than the not-so-fast or durable first RC toys. This truck shares many of the design cues of their larger truck - I have one of their 1/16th scale trucks with an upgraded engine. . Attention to strength engineering is also evident in this smaller version. Well done. The hand controls are easy to use and have a feature that lets you toggle between low and full throttle to help new riders get the feel without losing control. If you can handle it, you'll get quite a bit of speed and power - the video shows how good and fast this little truck can rip it apart! the bone crashes into trees, trash cans, curbs, etc. So far no signs of damage.

Pros
  • Versatile Electronic Protection: IPX4 splashproof electronic speed controller allows this RC ATV realistic off-road performance. This RC car can be driven in various weather conditions. It can overcome puddles of water and muddy spots. Never get into salty sea water. Electronics provide overheat protection, stall protection and low battery shutdown. With two T-Plug 25C lithium polymer batteries you can extend the operating time to more than 30 minutes.
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
