Review on Equus 8362 Level Gauge Aluminum by Craig Rossman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Read this if you've ever been disappointed by waiting in line.

Good. I've been waiting to write this review. There is no factory color specification. Arctic White or Antique White. It's just different than Chevy or Ford. Chevrolet 0-90. Who cares what a Ford is. I originally had one installed that didn't work. It was arctic white. However, Arctic White is likely for Ford as it will not match a 0-90 ohm sensor. My dash is all arctic white on a powder coated gray metal panel with a green backlight. jeep cj5. I order the correct 0-90 from the factory. It's antique white! So I go to Amazon. Buy this guy because it shows as arctic white and 0-90 ohms. nope Actually antique white. So now I have two antique white fuel delivery units. Oh, and an arctic white that doesn't work. The 2% rule comes into effect. I took apart an arctic white and one of the antique whites. Swapped the guys to get a 0-90 ohm block in an arctic white fuel gauge. Valla! I actually sent it back to Amazon via postage prepaid. I have to say they have a great return policy. The moral of the story is that the picture is misleading and not the seller's fault. On the manufacturer's side there are no color differences, only the overall picture. Napa selling too, no. If you're reading all this, you'll be just as bored as I am.
