I originally bought this product for my teenagers on the recommendation of a beautician. She shared with me that while they use a cleanser to keep oily skin at bay, it's important they also moisturize the skin—so it doesn't overcompensate for a lack of oil by producing MORE oil. Makes sense, but may seem counterintuitive to teenagers. This gel is lightweight and fragrance free which they love. They use it every day and I've started too. All our faces are clean and healthy. I just wish it didn't cost that much as we'll get through this pretty quickly!
