Cheap but cheap in functionality. Stand a little"eh"; It feels light and cheap, and stowing everything away can be a challenge with limited desk space, but other than that, it just works. I pair this with a budget ring light to illuminate my face while streaming and it works flawlessly. If you just need some extra lighting for your webcam, this will work. You don't have to spend a lot of money on something else or collect some heaps from Home Depot/Lowes/Menards/Ace. The dimmer/color temperature controls here make it more useful as such a setting. I wouldn't recommend relying on that single light source alone if you want to illuminate your face in a dark room, but that's true of almost any light source; You need at least 2 (secondary ring light).
