The pad has been in for over a week and the top edge is still wrinkled like bacon. Although it tamed itself a bit for the first few days, it seems to be constantly wavy on the top, which is unforgivable for any mouse pad. More importantly, the surface does not appear uniform in direction. Sideways movements feel different than back and forth movements, with a little more friction in the latter case. This difference was enough when I unconsciously picked up the mouse while playing. My enduring Corsair MM300 feels better and falls apart instantly, but the design was so outrageously ugly that I attempted to replace it. This is especially annoying because returning this item in the middle of a pandemic isn't worth my time or effort, so it's basically $30 plus tax.
