Review on Lumene CC Color Correcting Cream, Medium: Discover the Ultimate Skin-Perfecting Solution for a Flawless Complexion! by Mayra Boyle

Replaces my $80 Sephora products!

Warning. The wall of text is coming. So I previously used Stila CC Cream ($35, recently discontinued) and set it up with Laura Mercier Mineral Powder ($40, online only). Since my Holy Grail products were discontinued and getting too expensive I decided to give it a try. to find a replacement. I went back to Sephora for a replacement and was disappointed and returned what I received. Stumbled across the Lumene brand, saw it had good reviews and decided to give it a try, only $14 why not. I was very impressed. I bought "Light" hoping it wouldn't be too light based on previous reviews, but I think I'm more pasty than I imagined because Light is the perfect color for me. It blends into the skin very well, I apply it with a brush and then smooth it out with a beauty blender. The app only takes a few minutes and looks amazing. It was important to me to have a simple and quick product that gives me a natural look. It really is like that. Probably the most important thing for me is that it still looks fresh after 5 or 6 hours. Some makeup kinda comes off your skin after your oils come out and mix with the product (somehow there is a camouflage makeup pattern in the pores and wrinkles sorry not the best description but i think you get what I mean) but it's so no! I don't even have to set it with mineral powder because it looks so pretty on its own. but not too good for dark circles under my eyes, but that's not why I bought it. I bought it for the redness, so I'm very satisfied in that regard. A few words about the photos posted: 1- my camera makes the worst worse and the best better. So the before and after are correct, but keep this in mind. 2- The product on my hand was not rubbed in, it was just what was left on my hand after applying it with a brush. It looks much smoother and almost disappears. The point was to show how bright the light really is, as so many negative reviews say it's too bright I thought a real photo of the cream might help. 3- Everything on my face is CC cream. No moisturizer, blush, or added products. CC only. So in the end, my $14 tube from Amazon replaces $80 Sephora products and gives me the same, if not better, look. I'm writing this detailed review because I was SO disappointed with my Stila CC. The cream has been discontinued. I thought I would never find such a good CC cream for redness. So far!
