used it on my last hike and loved it. It is small but gives a lot of light. What I particularly liked was that I could turn on half the light so I could carry it on the side of the handle and shine straight down (and then the other half wouldn't be in my eyes) and also the flashlight part on the same Time. So sometimes you don't have to do any of those things to look ahead and then see where you're stepping. I also like that it has little blue indicators to show you how much dough is left. I also like the way the cord is stored on the unit. I always lose her. Very minor quibbles - the button for the flashlight feels the same as the other decorative buttons around the device, so I had to figure out that it was the one at the base of the button. I also find it a bit odd that you have to cycle through full, half, full red and flash red in the main part of the flashlight for it to turn off unless I'm missing something. That wouldn't stop me from buying another one. I've dropped it on dirt a few times and it's still fine, but I'm not sure there's a harder surface. I hope I don't test this.
