I bought an induction stove and bought it for some pots etc that didn't work with induction. We made jam, which we do several times a year, and even with the booster function, it took maybe 4 times as long to heat up. I'm pretty disappointed. I would return it but the cost of extracting and reinstalling the other is too much and I'm not sure the other would be better. READ NUTRITIONAL QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU BUY. Another annoying thing about cleaning is that it keeps turning off in the process. Otherwise it works and looks good. If it gave off more power and heat than my previous "old" electric stove, I would be very satisfied. This is particularly noticeable when the induction cooker is so amazingly fast.
