I haven't tested this product with my Acer Nitro 5 (which pulled 99 degrees when the CPU temp hit) but here's my base rating. My product came in the original refrigerated packaging with a shipping label attached to the box. No clear film or anything, no tape sealing the box, and it was left on my porch during the snowstorm and got wet. thanks usps The product itself isn't as high quality as I expected, but for the price, my hopes weren't high. The metal is thin and the fans aren't flush with the panel, so your laptop rests on the fans themselves rather than flush with the platform. The keys are of pretty poor quality, as is the screen, and they're "ugly". in the sense that you can see the clear plastic around the button, which balances out the black and silvery white. The lights are actually very good quality, but they're only on the left and right sides. I also had a defect, a small scratch under the screen. The fans are incredibly quiet at full speed, but they don't seem to produce a very strong boost. It will be necessary to see how it works during the game.
