Almost there!: my feedback

These boots are as pictured and they feel very warm. However 4 things I didn’t like:1. They don’t fit snug around the ankle. This leaves the middle portion of the boot a little bunchy around the lower part of your leg, which feels weird because your feet and your calves are snug, but the middle section feels unsupported.2. While these are high boots, the grommets for lacing them up don’t go all the way to the top. I tried wrapping the laces around my leg to secure them at the front, but that digs right into your calf muscle and feels like it cuts off your movement while walking. Grrr! I had high hopes for these as I really wanted sleek boots that hug your legs all the way to the top.3. The base part of the soul isn’t very thick, so when you step down, it doesn’t feel like you have a lot of support under your foot. Since I plan to wear these for running errands in the cold weather, where I do a lot of walking, and snowshoeing in the winter where I traverse a couple of miles, these might get uncomfortable after a while.4. While they were very comfortable just on your feet, all in all they feel unbalanced. They are snug and warm in the foot, but without enough support underneath so it feels like you’re wearing flats. The bunchy part in the middle made them feel unsupported there, which caused me to want to keep tightening them. The top part doesn’t have grommets and the boots kind of splay open there, which takes away from the svelt look and performance I was hoping for. These boots would be great if you’re just going from the car to the coffee shop, where you’ll sit inside to show off your cute winter outfit. Or if you’re going to a holiday event, and want to look good as a spectator, and need them to keep warm but not walk around a lot.So I guess it just depends on your feet, if you can hike endlessly in flats, then go for it. Or if you just want cute and warm boots, like say to wear to a football game or an outdoor event, these should fit your needs. But I’m one of those people who requires a lot from my clothing, and was hoping for a pair of snug footing boots for doing outdoor activities, these are close.really close!

Pros
  • High-quality materials ensure that the boots will withstand any wear and tear
Cons
  • The boots may cause the feet to slide forward, causing pain in the toes
