I ordered this in nude in an XL. The size chart showed that an XL would actually be an XXL. Given that these are foreign manufactured, I assumed it was simply a difference in how the sizes were grouped. I ordered a black slip in XL, thinking I'd get the same thing. Wrong! I got an "XL" (vs. the XXL last time) sent to me that fits like a medium, making it nearly unwearable - and most likely unwearable after washing. The nude XL was slightly too large, which I prefer because I can always tailor as needed. But having it be nearly two sizes too small was not good at all. The cost to return it will probably make it not worth shipping it back. But, instead of me ordering more slips as I planned to do, I will continue my neverending hunt for a decent pure silk slip from another manufacturer or order fabric and make my own. Also, the first slip was sent in a neat package with cardboard to keep it in place on arrival. The second one was sent stuffed in a plastic bag, which makes me wonder if it was a return from another customer, since the packaging is different. Buyer Beware.
