NOT WATERPROOF in my review
Learned this the hard way, by teaching a swim class in a torrential downpour. It's water resistant for a couple minutes, but then it starts absorbing water and creating a damp shell around you. Water from raincoat will even make your clothes wet. Spend a little more and get a raincoat that will actually keep you dry.

- The jacket is too lightweight and doesn't offer enough protection
