Just what I needed

I needed a bed apron to keep dust and clutter to a minimum under my bed so I got this apron. Bonus: the mattress does not need to be raised. As you can imagine, this is a simple slip on and it's done. And I thought the same. HOWEVER, there is a slight flaw in this assumption: it is a slippery rubber band that needs to be threaded around the 4 corners of the bed. "But Jessica, my bottom sheet is the same." No. With no sewn-on twists, no weight, and a SOFT stretch in the bottom sheet, get ready to fight slip, pop, one corner, two corners, one corner. While it didn't take too long to set up, there was one extremely awkward scene involving toe gymnastics to get around the third corner. Are you exaggerating? Okay, a little, but it happened with toe exercises. I'm sure it was easy for other people to put their bed in. My bed frame is a bit odd so I was just hoping the skirt stretched enough to accommodate the frame more than the mattress. IMPRESSIVE. That wasn't a problem as stretching the skirt borders on the ridiculous. I took a picture of myself putting on my skirt, but even then I didn't really try. The material and quality is nice and it doesn't feel like it's a magnet for the occasional fluff. I'm very happy with it and look forward to less tripping under my bed from dropped things.
