Review on 🛀 Villa Celestia Blue Towels: Luxurious 6-Pack Cotton Bath Towel Set for Bathroom, Home & Hotel by Elizabeth Oliva

I ordered an eight piece set: two bath towels, two hand towels and four gray washcloths. The product description mentions that the bath towels are 700gsm and the hand towels and washcloths are 650gsm and I would expect towels of this weight to be quite thick and of fairly good quality. The towels looked fine but when they arrived they didn't seem anything special. They weren't particularly thick or plush, but the towels often fluffed up when washed. I followed the instructions to wash towels before first use. I used cold water and a gentle cycle and tumble dried them on low heat. The towels are soft but not really fluffy and not at all like my other thick and dense towels in the 650-700gsm weight range. More importantly, they fall apart before the first use. All but one of the shawls had multiple elongated loops, leaving bare patches in the body of the shawl, protruding threads, and unraveled edges. luxury towels? Not really. These towels are made in India and I definitely do not recommend them. I have purchased many other towel sets in this price range ($43.99) including some made from Turkish cotton which are vastly superior to these. Very disappointed - doesn't last long. I have ten year old towels that look better than these. See photos.
