These are small ready-made dogs; I knew that when I bought this book. What I don't like is that all parts of the pattern overlap so you have to carefully trace and mark each part of the pattern. I imagine the book would have been longer if each part of the pattern had been printed separately, but it would have been a lot easier to follow. I bought this book because I want to use dogs in a blanket; they are the right size for it.
