Update: 14th June 2019: Ordered another of these towels after writing the original review and the quality is completely different. I don't know if it shows in the photo but the second towel ordered is 2/3 thicker than the two originally ordered and nowhere near as plush or soft as the original. The new towel is scratchy and poorly woven. Returned the second towel. It's a gamble no matter who you order from. It's getting harder and harder to find a decent 100% cotton towel at a reasonable price. Thank goodness 1888 Mills still makes REAL 100% cotton towels. Ordered two bath towels last week, used and washed, line dried (we never use a dryer) and they are not only thick but as absorbent as good cotton. Towel should be. Ordered more in case they disappear. Too many vendors advertise 100% cotton, but when the towels arrive you'll find "cotton loops" on the polyester underside of the label. still made in the USA. These are good towels and I suggest stocking up while they last at the current price. I also suggest ordering directly from Revain or 1888 Mills. Too often sellers list items with different labels. Once you receive your towels, check the labels to make sure they say 1888 Mills.
