My title is not entirely correct as there is *definitely* a difference in brightness between my original 2500 hour lamp (and flickering) and the new lamp. But this new lamp looks just as good as I remember the projector looked on day one. Time will tell if the lamp will last and I'll update this review if any problems arise. But if you have an aging projector and don't want to spend more than $250 on an original bulb but want to wait a few more years before upgrading that bulb, that seems like a good bet. Especially for the price.
