Ideal for keeping an eye on who or what is in your garden. I got this for wildlife after seeing a 'big cat' early one morning but this cam actually caught 4 people trying to break into our house one night! Remember that the default settings record a short 5 second video when triggered. and this is stored on a memory card that you need to check through a card reader. There is no smartphone/wifi connection here, so there is no live security camera. However, it comes with an adjustable strap so you can temporarily mount it in many places. Mine is attached to a downspout. I pull out my memory card every morning to see what's going on at night. Be sure to position it so it faces away from the road as it will trigger passing vehicles. Excellent purchase.
