I don't know why people complained about the thickness of this bag as it was quite thick. I put it on top of the tree, then turned the tree over and tied the bag shut at the end. Then I pump the tree outside where I removed the light. Then I put the wood in a heap to burn. Make sure the tree stand doesn't have too much water if you can, or take a large towel, roll it up into a circle, wet it and take it outside to shake off and dry to hang up The only needles on my floor came from a tree that shed needles when decorating. It worked great! There were a few small holes in the bag, but the needles didn't break out. I hug the bag to dry and put it back in the bag it was reused in next year. You can't beat that! 😏🎄
