Excellent contact and recording in iPad. If you're looking for something with pen precision, you won't find it with this pen or any other pen. iPad is simply not supported! But it's one of the best pens I've ever used. The only drawback is the enormous size. I'm a woman with fairly large hands and this was too big. The diameter is slightly smaller than the Crayola marker, one of the largest used for toddlers, although it is more ergonomic. I would recommend the smaller elago and lower expectations of what a stylus can do on an iPad and you'll be happy!
