I've been wearing Sauconys for a long time and have never had a problem. I had several pairs that I wore on different occasions. So I thought I would buy them for my 7 year old son. They were cute and fit well but didn't last long. After about 3 weeks they could no longer be worn. The suede at the toe of the shoe was torn, the eyelets were torn. I'm not sure if this is a real Saucony. They are definitely not Saucony quality. If it's a fake then they did a good job of reproducing the looks but not the quality.
