. it didn't produce enough power because I had bad ghosting with both VGA extension and RJ45-VGA.
I used to use long VGA cables with no problems, but in this case I was trying to split and extend the VGA output from a small form factor PC at work and I think it did didn't come out enough Juice because I had bad ghosting with both a good quality VGA extension cable and VGA to RJ45 adapters with no Cat 5 power supply. I didn't want to spend $100 on this, but I did it as a last resort and it worked. I'm broadcasting 1280 x 1024 at about 20ft and yes there is a very small amount of ghosting but it is tolerable.
