so far so good. I've only had this backup drive for a few weeks. It gets the job done, is relatively fast and light in weight. I backed up photos and documents with no problems. If it turns out to perform well over a period of time I'll buy a few more. I like to have multiple backups in case one of them fails. For those who have never lost their main PC hard drive, good for you. But you really need to make regular backups with such a device.
