I bought two of these xx-small sizes for my 3 and 4 pound Chihuahuas. When they arrived I put them on the dogs and let them carry them around the house for an hour and they didn't seem to care at all. They are securely fixed and do not move or slip. I was afraid they would slip through the neck holes as often happens with their outerwear. We used them to take dogs in kayaks and within five minutes the smallest dog fell, but I tied him with a leash to the ring at the top of the back rail. I wound it up and took it by the handle and it didn't sway at all. These vests are great. You have multiple adjustment options for a good fit. I highly recommend them for small dogs.
