Review on Targus VersaVu Apple IPad (7/8/9Th Gen) 10 by Jasin Gilstrap

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I've tried several iPad Mini cases. I returned this one.

I needed a case for my new iPad Mini 5th Gen (2019). I need a case with a rotating stand so I can use some apps in portrait mode. I'm very picky about design and function so I bought several cases to try. This case is TARGUS VersaVu Slim in Blue. Oh how I wanted to love this case. It was so well done and looked so professional. The stitching was precise, the material was rich and durable. The swivel mechanism on the holder locks in a horizontal or vertical position for viewing. So when you fold it to hold it in your hands, the iPad doesn't rotate. The bottom slots, which held the iPad at your preferred viewing angle, were perfect, neither too high nor too low. It was easy to slide the iPad to the right angle and hold it in place. But - and this is a big but - the valve that keeps the case closed always gets in the way when the case is open. The flap rolls up and can cover the lower part of your iPad's screen. I don't know if you can teach him to be shallow; I tried but didn't want to damage it. But even if it were flat, this valve occupies an extra 2 inches in front of the body. I just couldn't live with it. I sent this case back to TARGUS. A NOTICE. I saved this case: https://www.amazon.com/Cover-Degree-Rotating-Multi-Angle-Viewing/dp/B07YV9Z7NL/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords= toennesen+ipad+case&qid=1616298394&sr=8- 5
