I bought this to wear under a wedding dress that has an open back and a deep V bodice in the front. I have big boobs so let me just say what is there now. I wear a 38DD bra. I knew finding the right backing for this particular dress was going to be a challenge. I was lucky that my seamstress was able to customize the front of the dress with extra support for my bust, but I wanted it to look flawless, smooth and fit the occasion well. This bra does just that. What it's not very good at is keeping everything UP. Now most of the weight in my chest is on the bottom. I wear hangers because that's what these hanging things require. They've been heavy my whole life, that's just my style. This bra has no lift, but it perfectly defines and smoothes the skin. I'm sure, and with the added support of the mechanism my seamstress will be putting in, it will work just fine, but I wore this under the blouse I wore for the fitting and although it kept everything sturdy (ie there wasn't much wiggle and wiggle) they weren't uplifted and proud as usual. So keep that in mind if you are a busty person and need support. If your breasts have any weight at all, it won't help them lift and fall out from under your arms. No I'm not going. For anything but minimizing movement and maintaining suppleness and suppleness, yes it will help. In the words of the immortal Meatloaf, "Two out of three isn't bad." (Also I bought an E cup and I'm glad I did because any smaller and it would just be an oversized brownie) . I advise you to get nipple covers with it simply because getting that bad guy off your bare nipples is definitely punishment from hell for very nasty, very nasty people.
