I am very happy with these locks. I've read several customer complaints but found them inaccurate, at least for the locks I received. The locks were easy to install, although you have to use a small hard object to flip the switch, but it was easy. Just as easy to open. I like that the cable is flexible. Personally, I like that it's long in this case because I use it to pull four loops through my backpack. The downside is that the lock itself is very heavy considering how light the cable is. And I haven't checked the cable, but I can't help but think that any interested person could use a small hand tile to cut the lock, but maybe not. It just seems very important, but hey, it's really daunting as even a giant lock can open. I doubt they're as strong as a small metal lock, but then again, I'm no expert. Also, some people may find the loop too big. It depends on what you use it for, but you can wrap the cord to make it more secure and tidy. I'm giving him a 5 because I think he does exactly what he says so there's no reason to hit him. I use two of mine and they have held up so far, and I open one several times a day. I just wish they didn't weigh that much but the weight is displayed again so I have to be responsible for that.
