Not everything is so bad, but there are disadvantages.

Two years of effort have resulted in nothing except negative feedback. Denial, rage, negotiation, conflict, and a quest for alternatives spanned over many years. Pros: The mouse's form factor is suitable for comfort, so using it won't be too much of a hassle on the hand. Ill effects: Poorly implemented button functions, as though no tests were ever run. With practice, yes, in most cases, virtually instantly, clicks require finger movement to catch. Problems with the rods of buttons and mikriks not being properly aligned were apparent upon opening. I dripped glue from a pistol onto pillows and it didn't work for a long time. It's fine if you two don't agree on this. It's a shame, because the animal has so much potential. Well, the fact that most optical mice experience temporary signal degradation when used on a "unsuitable" surface cannot be avoided.
