Review on Ellie Shoes 121 PAYASO Driving Loafer by Cliff Gibs

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Sturdy construction, sleek design and vibrant colors. A real crowd!

I have a beautiful clown costume that my wife made for me to entertain my grandchildren on their birthdays (I'm not a professional but I have props, I can make some balloon animals and add other fun to order to support life). However, a good pair of clown shoes was missing from my outfit. I was a little apprehensive about buying cheap ones or big ones that you might trip over (I'm not a spring baby) so after looking around I settled on these colorful hiking boots. They arrived as advertised and are clearly of high quality in construction, with a solid fit, vibrant colors and a really eye-catching design. I wear a size 10 and ordered a size 10 and they fit perfectly. Out of curiosity I wore them to work to try them on (I work in an office) and got lots of great comments, giggles and thumbs up gestures. I am really looking forward to their debut at my grandson's 4th birthday party. My only negative comment, and this is a minor nitpick, is that they don't have much cushioning in the soles, but I was able to easily fix that with an extra pair of insoles I had from a pair of running shoes. I wore them to the office all day and they were super comfortable and I even forgot I wore them sometimes until someone responded. I think I'll probably replace the laces with something sturdier because I don't feel they will last long. I am already thinking of other uses for these boots as I love how they make everyone smile.

Cons
