wow. Let me just say my kids just LOVE this thing. LOVE IT. But this thing is so cheaply made and gives me such a headache cleaning up that I beg my kids to just let them make it in a regular glass of chocolate milk and stir with a spoon. First, if the plastic cup/barrel is not tightened, all of the liquid will drain into the lower chamber which contains the batteries and wiring. And cleaning is a bitch. Secondly, even if you plug it in properly and it works smoothly, there will be a time when you need to hand wash it. You'll have to hand wash this quite a bit to keep the battery compartment wet as the base almost never stays in place and it's not even waterproof. This is a great gift and kids love it. But that's where it all ends. Now I'm hiding it in the back of the tallest closet so they'll forget we have it.
